To feel without feelings
To lock up before hearing the word broken
To move effortlessly without hearing whispers of insecurity
Is a world I could only dream of.
If a glimpse of this dream is the closest to reality,
Then I’ll take it.
Not in full, but like shards of a broken glass,
I’ll take the pieces slowly.
Besides
I don’t need a full cup of wine,
Just a sip will suffice
To let me know if this dream
Will make me feel whole again.

“Friendship”
When a day might seem cold and gloomy
When the sunshine won’t come our way
Many smiles shine through a sullen gray
Bringing lovely new blessings into our day
It’s great to feel the touch of a spirits love
As it comes to us in many different ways
There is nothing as wonderful as a happiness
Whose pure radiance lasts throughout the day
What might be more valuable in our daily lives
Then the kindness of our very special friends
Who elect to share time from their busy days
Sharing a piece of their heart from deep within
There is no value that can ever be placed upon
A spiritual treasure so rare and exquisite
Like the time a friend lets you know they care
With a wonderful moment dressed within a visit
And a day is never left quite the same again
As their genuine hugs and smiles make it full
With the blessing of a selfless spiritual love
Which comes to life each day from all of you.
